I love to create. I don't see a line between

sculpting and gardening, making chocolate

covered stawberries, singing, or even

telling a good joke. These are all creative.

When we are creating we pass through a

door of new possibilities. We go to a place

we haven't been before. It can be very

satisfying.

Self taught artist

To accept the label

"self taught artist" is to

neglect the contribution

of so many teachers

and mentors. I have been

fortunate to live in an area

where several really great

sculptors have their studio's.

The generosity my sculptor

friends have shown me by

sharing their knowledge and

talents, has been invaluable

to my growth as an artist.
